This was part of work to improve the area, in 2021, together with some gate works. As part of the procurement it was noted that due to the condition of the rear access ways, it would not be possible to clear all the moss or kill it off completely. The weeding and heavy sweeping of the moss to remove the build-up of moss was carried out in early March 2022. The weeds and moss will have germinated / regrown again over the spring and summer months.
